4. Eligible / Target Organization：This program is designed for a researcher in the field of biomass technology for industry in public researching institutes or universities.
5. Total Number of Participants：Three (3) participants The number of participants from each country will be one (1) in principle.

7. Program Objective: Participants suggest the method how to apply the acquired scientific knowledge to the effective and efficient utilization of biomass in respective countries.
8. Overall Goal: Biomass utilization technology is advanced in respective countries which is essential for sustainable development with preserving the earth environment.

4. Overall Goal: (1)Improvement and harmonization of evaluation systems in development countries are promoted.
(2)Evaluations of ODA loan projects are conducted on their own in respective countries based on the knowledge acquired in the seminar.
5. Program Objective: This program aims to enhance participants’ evaluation capacity by promoting better understanding of knowledge and importance on JICA evaluation, especially evaluation method of Japanese ODA loan projects.
Also, it contributes to put the knowledge acquired in the seminar into practice and disseminating its evaluation method in their respective organization.
To achieve this program objective, participants are expected to achieve four module outputs given below;
(Output 1) To understand JICA evaluation, especially evaluation method of mainly Japanese ODA loan projects
(Output 2) To acquire the knowledge on evaluation method of mainly Japanese ODA loan projects thorough exercise
(Output 3) To formulate Activity Plan to disseminate the knowledge acquired in the
seminar in their respective organization.
(Output4) To implement Activity Plan in their respective organization
※Although Japanese ODA loan is the main theme, the seminar also deals with Technical cooperation when the points are in common.
In participants’ home country, participants are required to conduct evaluation training workshop planned by each participant in the Core Phase.
6．Eligible / Target Organization： This program is designed for director or deputy director of implementing and coordinating agencies, who are responsible for evaluation and monitoring of Japan’s ODA projects, especially ODA loan projects financed by JICA. In addition, organizations of which are planned to be evaluated under the schemes of ex-post evaluation of
Japanese ODA projects (especially ODA loan projects) are preferred.
7．Total Number of Participants： 18 participants from target countries given above in total are expected to participate in
this seminar.

Organizaciones elegibles / objetivo: Este programa está diseñado para los funcionarios de nivel medio de los gobiernos centrales y municipales que están encargados de la planificación del ecoturismo, o las personas de las organizaciones públicas relacionadas o de las ONG que trabajan junto con dichos funcionarios gubernamentales.

Objetivo del programa Los conocimientos y habilidades sobre la planificación y operación del ecoturismo que contribuya a la reactivación de la economía local y al mantenimiento de la naturaleza y cultura serán compartidos entre las personas que desempeñan la planificación y operación del ecoturismo.
8. Objetivo superior Se desarrollarán recursos humanos capaces de desempeñar la planificación y operación del ecoturismo que pueda reactivar las economías locales y preservar la naturaleza y cultura.

7. Program Objective The related personnel to the WTO in the respective country share the understanding of
the whole structure of the WTO agreements and the domestic system which is necessary to implement the agreements, by means of dissemination activities which will be done by the participants of this program after their return.
8. Overall Goal The appropriate implementation of the WTO agreements is promoted.

4. Eligible / Target Organization: This program is designed for Law Enforcement authorities in charge of design, introduction, operation and maintenance of police info-communication system (preferably, applicants should have a basic understanding of TCP/IP).
5. Total Number of Participants: 10 participants
6. Language to be used in this program: English
7. Program Objective: The measures to promote the utilization of info-communication technology for police activities will be shared within the law enforcement authorities in each participating
country.
8. Overall Goal: To contribute to realize good governance and enhance capacity building of investigations in each participating countries.

 

 

 

4. Overall Goal: (1) The situation of education, employment, life in community, access to information will be improved by activities of participating organizations.
(2) International cooperation network between deaf organizations will be strengthened.

5. Objective: Plan to strengthen or improve the activities to empower or mainstream deaf persons will be formulated
and implemented. (The objective shall be achieved by the year of 2012.).
To achieve this program objective, participants are expected in Japan;
1) Acquire the Communication skills for international sign languages,
2) Understand the concept and current situation of deaf organizations and community in Japan,
3) Understand the system of sign language interpretation,
4) Analyze and compare the situation of deaf people, community and organizations of Japan and participants’ countries, and
5) Make the action plan to strengthen or improve the activities to empower or mainstream deaf persons.

6．Eligible / Target Organization： This program is designed for a self-help organization of deaf persons, which leads the empowerment movement of deaf persons. ONE organization for each country will be targeted from the year of 2010 to 2012.
